Studio has a powerful product, a growing userbase, and a design system with tokens and components — but no formal brand identity. No brand guidelines, no visual language outside the product UI, no unified voice across channels. We need someone who can take what exists, shape it into a cohesive brand, and then bring that brand to life across every touchpoint. This is a rare greenfield opportunity: you’re not inheriting someone else’s brand book and making incremental tweaks. You’re building it.

Required skills (from the JD):

  • 5+ years in brand design, brand strategy, or creative direction — ideally with experience building or significantly evolving a brand (not just maintaining one)
  • Strong visual design skills — you can produce polished brand assets yourself. Portfolio required.
  • Experience managing official brand social media accounts with demonstrated audience growth and engagement
  • Excellent copywriting — tweets, brand manifesto, ad copy with equal confidence
  • Strategic thinker — brand positioning, competitive differentiation, audience personas
  • Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, or Canva (no mandated toolchain)
  • Understanding of AI and tech culture
  • Bonus: startup or creator economy experience, motion/video design, building a brand guide from scratch
