Hygo Studio is Hiring: AI Prompt Engineer (Junior & Senior Tracks)
Typical comp: $40,000–$100,000 (median $70,000)
Hygo Studio is hiring AI Prompt Engineers (multiple positions, both Junior and Senior tracks) to discover, test, and systematize prompts and creative strategies that produce viral, high-performing AI influencer content. This is one of the few roles where AIEH’s AI fluency pillar gets the heaviest weighting — the JD calls it “engineering virality.”
This is a real, open role at Hygo Studio (April 2026 listing). Salary range: Junior $40,000–$60,000 base + bonuses; Senior $70,000–$100,000 base + bonuses. Remote (open to relocation to Las Vegas, NV). Apply at hygo.com/#careers, or take the AIEH bundle below and share your Skills Passport URL alongside your application.
What Hygo is looking for
From Hygo’s job description:
Studio’s AI influencers live or die by their content. The images, videos, and media they post need to stop thumbs, spark engagement, and build audiences — and all of it starts with how the AI is prompted. Right now, prompt discovery is ad hoc. We need dedicated people whose entire job is to push the platform to its limits. You’re not engineering software — you’re engineering virality.
The most important quality (Hygo’s emphasis):
Social media fluency. You must have a deep, intuitive understanding of what performs on social media — what gets engagement, what gets shared, what builds audiences, and what falls flat. Without this, no amount of creativity or analytical ability matters.
Required skills (from the JD):
- Strong understanding of social media content performance across major platforms — predicting performance before posting
- Creative and experimental mindset — pushing tools past their edges
- Systematic thinking — building repeatable frameworks from individual discoveries
- Experience creating or working with AI-generated content (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, video generation, or similar)
- Strong written communication — documenting prompt strategies clearly
- Analytical ability — designing tests, tracking results, drawing conclusions from data
- Bonus: programming/scripting (for systematic prompt testing), content creation/social media background, prompt engineering for commercial applications
How AIEH maps this role to a Skills Passport bundle
| Family | Relevance | Why it matters here |
|---|---|---|
| AI Output Evaluation | 0.95 | Highest possible relevance for any AIEH role. The entire job is evaluating which AI outputs are viral-ready. AOE is literally the assessment for this skill. |
| ACL (Prompt-to-Spec) | 0.90 | Translating a content goal into a prompt that reliably produces it = exactly the ACL family’s design. Building “modular prompt templates with clear parameters” is structured prompt-to-spec work. |
| Big Five Personality | 0.70 | High Openness predicts the experimental “tweak variables for hours to see what happens” work. Conscientiousness predicts the systematic documentation that turns one-off lucky shots into reusable templates. |
| Communication | 0.65 | ”Document a complex prompt strategy clearly enough that someone with no context can follow it” is technical writing skill. |
Pillar weights for this role
- AI fluency: 0.45 — heaviest AI-pillar weighting in the AIEH catalog. The role is fundamentally AI-output-judgment + AI-prompt-design work.
- Domain: 0.25 — social media performance + AI tool proficiency depth.
- Cognitive: 0.20 — pattern recognition + experimental design.
- Communication: 0.10 — minimal. Documentation matters but isn’t the primary screen.
The composite score on the 300-850 calibrated scale for this role should peak in AI fluency. A candidate with a 750 AI fluency subscore and moderate scores elsewhere is a stronger fit than a balanced 650 across all pillars.
Junior vs. Senior
Hygo’s JD distinguishes:
- Junior ($40K–$60K): Strong social media instincts + genuine excitement about AI creative tools. May not have formal prompt engineering experience but has spent serious time with AI generation tools and has a portfolio or social media performance track record.
- Senior ($70K–$100K): Has done this — formally or informally — at a level where prompt strategies have driven measurable content performance. Thinks in systems and frameworks. Can mentor junior prompt engineers.
For passport-based applications, both tracks should target high AOE + high AI fluency pillar scores. Senior candidates additionally need strong Communication scores (mentorship + methodology articulation) and Conscientiousness from Big Five (systematic methodology requires it).
Two ways to apply
Apply directly: visit hygo.com/#careers. Bring a portfolio of AI-generated content with documented prompt strategies where possible.
Apply with an AIEH Skills Passport: take the bundle above (start with Big Five sample). When AOE and ACL families flip to active, complete those — they’re the strongest indicators for this role specifically.
What AIEH cannot test (Hygo screens directly)
- Social media content performance track record — the most important quality per the JD. Bring portfolio: pieces you created, the platforms they ran on, the engagement they drove.
- AI tool proficiency — Midjourney/SD/DALL-E/video tools you’ve used hands-on. Show prompt → output examples.
- Prompt engineering portfolio — modular templates you’ve built, documented systems, A/B test results.
- Content trend awareness — articulate which trends are happening now and which prompts respond to them.
The interview process is Call, Test, Call. The test stage will almost certainly involve a hands-on prompt engineering exercise on Hygo’s platform.
